Maxwell was a thoughtful initiative by its founder Dr.M. Murugan his childhood was marked by struggles and hardships, where basic necessities like proper food and clothing were often scarce. However, he persevered and focused on his education, eventually graduating from college in 2011. As a newly minted graduate, he felt a strong desire to give back to his community, particularly to those who, like him, had faced difficulties in life. He started offering tiny helps to nearby old age homes, hoping to bring some comfort and joy to their lives. This experience not only humbled him but also instilled a sense of purpose, driving him to continue making a positive impact in the lives of others.
In 2022, our trust was established in Coimbatore, with a branch office in Madurai, starting with a 13 dedicated members who shared a vision of creating positive change. Today, we have grown to a team of 72+ committed individuals who make monthly contributions to support our mission. These contributions,combined with the encouragement and support from our well-wishers. Enabled us to extend our support to the marginalized communities.
Maxwell Charitable Trust was born out of compassion and vision in 2022. A group of 13 passionate individuals in Coimbatore united with a singular goal: empowering the underprivileged through opportunities for education, dignity, and sustainable living.
From humble beginnings in a modest office with limited funds, our trust gained momentum through grassroots support, consistent member contributions, and well-wisher backing. This grassroots effort soon created a wave of hope.
Today, we proudly serve from Coimbatore and Madurai with a dedicated team of 72+ changemakers leading initiatives impacting children, women, tribal communities, and individuals with disabilities. Our journey is measured not just in numbers but in lives transformed.
